In case this information wasn’t on the front page of the Atlanta newspapers or any of the other liberal news outlets that refuse to report on the communist/socialist drivers behind the open borders/anti-enforcement anti-American movement. Put this in the Obama really is a Socialist ( capital “S”) file.

President Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 to Dolores Huerta, an 82-year-old labor activist and co-founder of the United Farm Workers union. Huerta is also an chair of the Democratic Socialists of America DSA is “the largest socialist organization in the United States, and the principal U.S. affiliate of the Socialist International.” Huerta is credited with inventing the illegal alien/Barack Obama rallying call “ Si Se Puede/Yes We Can”! As in “yes we can race-bait our way to open borders and the White House.

Educational video HERE and more HERE. The open borders mob over at GALEO are quite proud today!

Imagine the headlines if it were someone who spoke out in favor of capitalism and immigration and border enforcement!

As if…

Gawdy: Once again you have missed my point. I have continued to repeat myself, sometimes especially for you because you don't GET IT. I repeat my self for others because they continue to miss the very obvious point.

IT IS HUERTA'S WORK WHICH IS BEING HONORED NOT HER POLITICS.

Re-read the last sentence three times. The re-reading will most likely not make a difference.

Gawdy: Since the election of President Obama the right wingers have claimed that the hate belongs entirely to the Progressives. I don't know how that got started, I do know that the "wingers" want to deflect their long history of "hate". It is not the Progressives who refuse to acknowledge the work of Delores Huerta. It is not the Progressives who want to send all of "them" back to where they come from, regardless of the circumstances.

Good luck with the "hate deflection" it is as obvious as your shallow thinking.

Lib is unable to thik of anyting else to say except repeating "hate" and the same post over and over.

Thank you Robert.

@Robert: As I mentioned previously, I repeat myself because it's needed, too many don't/won't/can't recognize the work of Delores Huerta. The Medal of Freedom is not about politics. I repeat myself because I hope that for one or two minutes the Conservatives would see the good that Huerta has done and forget her politics and yours.

I doubt your ability to forget your rabid hate filled values, there is always hope.

Snake and Robert: The entire purpose of the article was to honor a woman who through years of work, helped countless people. Too many here in Cobb are distracted by Huerta's politics. What then happens, the world of illegal vs legal is injected. Then Snake injects The Statue of Liberty.

You both are distracted from the The Medal of Freedom by your politics. People other than Conservatives are worthy of the award. Guess what, your politics are blinding you both from seeing a truth that you don't like. There are all kinds of people here, we are a lucky nation. We here have privileges that some dream of having, one of the reasons why people are desperate to come here. I love this country, but I don't love everything that is done in her name. You both would deny Ms. Huerta The Medal of Freedom because you don't like her politics. Ms. Huerta has the right to follow her instincts and her core values, those values are not yours, but at the very least have the decency to acknowledge her work.

Snake: I never mentioned the Statue of Liberty.

So what's your point?

To Lib in Cobb by way of Rush, just to watch Lib go wobbley.

"The Statue of Liberty was never meant to be a symbol of immigration. It was meant to be a symbol of liberty and freedom. The Statue of Liberty as designed and constructed had nothing to do with what Emma Lazarus wrote, and it's another distortion of the left to suggest that this country was founded for the express purpose of taking anybody, anywhere, any planet, any country, who wanted to come into the country. Under the guise that they were poor, they were huddled, they were hungry, they were thirsty. It was not about immigration at all. It was about liberty. We don't call it "the Statue of Immigration." We call it the Statue of Liberty. It was dedicated October 28th, 1886."

Amen brother!

Lib is angry. Is that "hatred" Lib is spewing at Diane? Lib - Mexico is the nation of origin of most legal and illegal immigration into the US.

What silliness to say that the illegals lack the means to come legally - they DO come for the increase in pay and they DO lower American wages and take jobs away from citizens and legal immigrants. This is not hard to understand, just hard to admit for people like you.

Now I guess we will see 3 more posts from you saying the same thing?

Diane:I neglected to mention why I repeat the same post regarding the reasons why anyone is awarded The Medal of Freedom. It is my hope that you and the other 'whistle nuts" will eventually understand the reasons for the award. There may be a glimmer of hope that you get it,a very small glimmer.

Diane: You didn't answer either of my questions. How are you going to explain away your hatred when you are judged by your god? Would Jesus help these desperately poor people or would he lock them up?

Would Jesus call anyone a "filthy sardine"?

Diane: These folks are indeed starving, I have been to every country that the undocumented come from, I have witnessed their desperation first hand. I have step children who are from war torn countries and as children have escaped those countries because their birth parents wanted a better life for them. I have visited refugee camps in developing nations and I have seen the

absolute pain and sorrow on their faces, so please don't tell me they are not starving.

The immigration process needs to be streamlined, the undocumented can't wait years for the process to work or not work. The undocumented don't have any of the necessary tools to come here legally.

People like you automatically question the loyalty of people like me because we disagree.

I will add again, Huerta received the Medal of Freedom for her work not her politics, you are too dense to understand anything remotely close to that concept.

We have immigration laws Lib - a fact that I am sure is quite upsetting to you. They are not "starving" - they come here because they can make more money than at home and are hired because they will work for less and live like filthy, angry sardines.

You keep typing the same blah, blah entry over and over.

YOU feed them. The rest of us want to keep our nation and our laws. Your ability to think is as small as your scope of argument. Do we take the entire world in because they don't live as well as we do?

Communist Huerta hates the America we love and the one you are not bright enough to defend.

@ DianeG: You are wrong I am not Mr. Foley. Secondly, you and others fail to recognize the reason why someone would be honored with The Medal of Freedom. The Medal of Freedom is awarded for their work not their politics.

Diane you and others refuse to recognize the body of Ms. Huerta's work, a true measure of your lack of understanding of The Medal of Freedom.

If there was an award for work involved in locking up people who are literally starving in their own countries then I am certain that DA King would be in the top three for consideration. Locking people up because they are trying to feed their families is not something to be proud of. Please don't say, Why don't they come here the right way". These folks risk their lives to get here in order to feed their families, they are very poor, they don't have any of the resources to accomplish what you perceive to to be the right way. I will guess that your are Christian. When you meet your maker; how are you going to explain your hatred? What would Jesus do for these desperate people? Would he feed them and help them or would he lock them up?

Your hypocrisy is very visible.

Th emedal was awarded to a leftist from a leftist because they are leftists. As Mr. King noted, Lib in Cobb would have a fit if the medal was given to someone who supports imigration enforcement and opposes amensty- including the DREAM Act amnesty.

Don't look now, but Lib in Cobb IS Foley.

@Robert Johnson

The Medal of Freedom was awarded to Delores Huerta because of her years and years of work with a disadvantaged sector of our population, not her politics. President Obama and The Medal of Freedom committee did not and should not consider Huerta's politics.

If you don't like her politics that's fine, but for one or two minutes forget politics and look at the body of Huerta's work. Her work, not her politics, is the reason she received the Medal of Freedom. It is YOUR politics which blinds you to the facts in this situation and possibly many others.

For clarification purposes only. Not all progressive thinkers are in favor of open borders. The immigration polices of the US should be streamlined making it easier, safer, less expensive and less time consuming for people to come to the US. If people are starving in their own countries, they don't have the time or the money to go through the current process. The Dream Act was a perfect opportunity for us to move in that direction.

Kevin Foley, again, thank you.

For those of you who need to be sure of how mindless liberal, open borders people realy are, here is your exhibit. Huerta wants to know why we can't reproduce the communist governemnt and p[olicies from Venezuala here oin the USA - but her politics don't matter. By the silly definitions they use, isn't this really "hate speech" from the liberals like Lib in Cobb and Kevin Foley? Whoever he is?

D.A. King sure knows where to hit them!

Sorry Lib. I'm out of town.

My dad used to say "An empty vessel makes the most noise."

I submit to you the commentary below as evidence of my dad's wisdom.

Thanks for your support.

@Aunt Gawdy: I neglected to mention, King's blog does not drive we Liberals/Democrats "loco", on the contrary, it validates the shallow thinking, narrow minded, thick headed position of many Republicans.

You can't give Delores Huerta credit because of YOUR politics,a very clear indicator of your weak minded thinking.

To Aunt Gawdy: Does it make a difference the race of West? He is a nut cake, that is the attention getter for me. He has not shown proof that there are 80 Communists in The US Congress, because there are NONE. He is a liar and should not hold any office. West would not pass the sanity litmus test, but the GOP of his district elected him, that speaks volumes of his supporters.
