KENNESAW — A woman turned herself in to Cobb County police Saturday and faces two misdemeanor charges of contributing to the deprivation of a minor.

Lechandre Bonner Wadley of Kennesaw was accused of leaving two children, ages 11 and 12, home alone without parental supervision from Friday night at 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. the next morning, according to the warrant.

The warrant stated that the home, on Clubhouse Drive off of Cobb Parkway, had “unsanitary conditions” and that the children were “scared and hungry.”

Wadley, who was released the next day on a $5,000 bond, told police she is “depressed, and needed a break,” the warrant stated.
