On Sept. 2, Kenneth Lamont Stampley of Mableton was arrested by Cobb County police on charges of aggravated battery and disfigurement.

The warrant stated Stampley seriously disfigured a woman in an apartment on Sweetwater Circle.

“(Stampley) threw a pot of boiling water at the woman, which caused several burns approximately 2 inches in length on the upper right shoulder of the woman. The burns were raised and appeared to be from the skin blistering,” the warrant stated.

Stampley was released on a $20,000 bond.
