Facing charges in the Feb. 5 incident are Myzelle Chantel Armstrong, 17, of Smyrna, Zawadi Athenaiis Clark, 20, of Marietta and Mykhal Antoinette Tait, 20, of Atlanta.
They are charged with four counts each of felony battery with intent to disfigure after allegedly dousing Ashley Hardy, Jasmine Ragland and Shatericka Barrino with hot oil, causing second- and third-degree burns on their legs and arms.
A fourth victim, Stori Brown, was not burned.
Armstrong and Tait also threatened the women with a baseball bat, police say.
According to the warrant, all seven women met at an apartment complex in Smyrna, “regarding some Instagram messages earlier in the day.”
Hardy and Ragland said they saw the defendants carrying hot liquid in a pot and a baseball bat, at which point they jumped back in their car.
The defendants are accused of prying the car door open with the baseball bat and throwing the pot of hot oil inside.
Armstrong and Clark made bail, which was set at $40,000 each.
Tait is still in Cobb County jail on a $40,000 bond.
