MABLETON - The Cobb County Police Department has arrested a teenager in connection with the murder of a male shot in the B building at Mableton Reserve Apartment Complex in Mableton Monday.



Darius Dionne Oliver, 18, of Atlanta, is being held in the Cobb County Jail without bond on charges of murder, aggravated assault, burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.



According to police, detectives identified the victim of the shooting as 41-year-old Ricardo Reese of Atlanta and early reports stated that he was discovered dead on the scene from apparent gunshot wounds, lying just inside the back door of the apartment.



Witnesses, on the scene at 6850 Mableton Parkway, provided information to dispatchers about the suspect fleeing the scene on foot after the shooting and within moments, Cobb Police and their K-9 Unit arrested Oliver just west of the crime scene.
