Still skeptical of Kemp

DEAR EDITOR:

We are indebted to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp’s illuminating letter in Saturday’s MDJ concerning vote counting procedures. Now if he would only come up with a means to present referendum questions in an intelligible, unambiguous and unbiased manner, I would be a bit less skeptical. It is certainly encouraging to know a significant majority of Georgia voters were not swayed by the posturing, blandishments and outright misrepresentations offered by the TSPLOST proponents. If only our elected officials would heed the public and enact a “gift” cap, they would govern more as the Republicans they claim to be, and less as mirror images of their Democrat predecessors!
