Senior living project would be an asset

DEAR EDITOR:

It is with dismay and disappointment what I have been reading about the overwhelming negative reaction to the proposed Senior Living Project in East Cobb.

The East Cobb Homeowners who so vigorously opposed this project were not thinking that this may be where their own parents would someday like to live. Retired seniors are always an asset to their communities and really do not add to any traffic or congestion in the areas where they are located. They would like to stay in the community where their church, family and friends reside.

I have no problem with reworking the plans to please the community and I am convinced that this will be a quality project as they have proven this in their other development in Stone Mountain.
