Mary Louise Stowe, age 79, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was born to the late John and Bernice Cardinale on October 30, 1933, in Chicago, Ill. After graduating Catholic High School in Chicago, she married and started eight years of travel as a Navy wife. They eventually landed in Marietta, Ga. in the late 1950s. Mary worked at AT&T from 1971 until her retirement in 1991 as a TSPS Supervisor. Family and friends were Mary’s passion and delight. She loved to cook and enjoyed reading and playing card games. Her Italian cooking was the family favorite, bringing a taste of Italy to the South. She had a passion for horror movies which she has passed down to most of her grandchildren. Mary was involved with the PTA of all the schools her children attended, took pride in her community, and was always helpful to others. She was active with the East Marietta Little league in the early 1970s. Mary is survived by two sisters, Gerri Kennedy and Dorothy Krassa. Her sons, John Stowe of Pine Mountain, GA., Edward Stowe of Acworth, GA., And Joel Stowe of Roswell, GA. Eight grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial service will be held June 1 to allow all family members to attend, the location will be announced a later time through social media. Inquiries can be made through email@example.com.
