The inning was highlighted by a Logan Barnette two-run double. Chase Belcher and Joey Szwec also provided RBIs in the sixth.
Harrison Velbsma got the win in relief after throwing two scoreless innings.
Wrenn was 2-for-3 with a double. Henry Rowling was 2-for-3 with a solo home run in the fifth inning. Barnett was 1-for-4 with three RBIs. Roberts was 1-for-2 with a double. Manzo was 1-for-2.
Walton (7-1) will play at Hillgrove today.
McEachern 6, South Paulding 5: McEachern came back from behind in a non-region game against South Paulding by scoring three runs in the sixth inning to jump ahead by one.
Maxwell Watkins gave the Indians the lead they needed with a two-run home run. Phil Tucker walked to begin the inning and scored on a throwing error.
Sam Stephens closed North Paulding in the seventh for the saves with two strikeouts and a fly ball.
Watkins was 2-for-4 with a home run and double and Morris was 1-for-2.
McEachern will host Collins Hill today.
KMHS 6, River Ridge 3: The Mustangs came back from two runs down by scoring three runs in the fourth inning to take the lead for good. Alex Darwiche hit a two-run double through the gap in the fourth inning that put Kennesaw Mountain in front and went 2-for-3 on the night.
Ryan McGrail was also 2-for-3 with an RBI. Mitchell Hammonds and Alex Nedvidck also had doubles.
Will Griffin went five innings on the hill and threw six strikeouts to get the win. Tyler Stephenson went two innings with three strikeouts and got the save.
Riverwood 13, Pope 4: The Greyhounds scored three runs in the third inning and Nate Lowe had a solo home run in the fourth but couldn’t keep pace with Riverwood.
The Raiders took charge by scoring five runs in the first inning and once Pope got back in it, they added two run in the fourth and six runs in the sixth inning.
Wes Smith was 2-for-4 for Pope with an RBI. Jared Parker was 2-for-3.
Pope will play at Osborne on Wednesday.
North Cobb 4, East Paulding 3: With two outs in the bottom of the seventh and bases loaded, Chad McClanahan hit a tow-run single down the right field line for the game-winning run.
If that wasn’t enouth, McClanahan also got the win, pitching the last three innings in relief, and retired the last seven batters. He was also 2-for-4 at the plate.
Billy Rose was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Chandler Seivers hit a double in the second inning.
Joe Braun started the game and went four innings, giving up two earned runs and struck out four.
North Cobb (3-2) will lay at Etowah on Thursday.
Mount Paran Christian 14, North Cobb Christian 0 (5 inn.): The Eagles scored six first inning runs, thanks to five errors by North Cobb Christian, to set the tone.
Mount Paran added another four runs in the third and three in the fourth to put the game out of reach.
Jake Palamoki pitched three innings of no-hit ball and had two strikeouts.
Mount Paran had 12 hits with Keigh Johnson going 2-for-2 with four RBIs. Landon Faulkner contributed with a home run and three RBIs. Palamoki added a single and a triple and Matt McKenzie had two RBIs.
North Christian was limited to two hits with Tripp Ross and Robert Gnann each getting singles.
Sprayberry 15, North Springs 0 (4 inn.): The Yellow Jackets took advantage of 10 walks to put together two big innings in a rout over their Region 7AAAAA rival.
Sprayberry scored six runs in the third and then ended the game in the fourth with an eight-run inning.
Bobby Gauvrreau had a three-run triple and Clint Coleman went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
McKenzie Mills earned the win pitching four innings of one hit ball and striking out eight.
Sprayberry (1-5, 1-0) will travel to Forsyth Central on Friday.
Mount Pisgah 15 Walker 5 (6 inn.): The Wolverines allowed 12 walks and four errors and fell in a Region 6A contest.
Gaines Lahue had a triple and drove in two, Kevin Bray went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Zach Eikost added two hits.
Walker (1-5, 1-2) will travel to St. Francis today.
Kell 5, Creekview 0: The Longhorns swept Creekview in a region match with each winning in straight sets.
John Mark Walker at No. 1 singles and the doubles teams of Trent Laney and Michael Tarvell and Steven Klausman and Andy Hollis lost a combined five games between them.
Kell’s No. 2 and No. 3 singles players had to work for it with Ryan Rowedder winning 6-1, 6-4 and John Pittner prevailing 6-4, 7-5.
Kell (5-3, 4-1) will play at Cambridge today.
Sprayberry 18, Riverwood 9: The Yellow Jackets jumped on Riverwood early in an Area 2A-AAAAA game and took a 12-4 lead at half.
Gabby Lohner had seven goals and one assist to lead Sprayberry. Caroline Curtis and Ashley Russo both finished with hat tricks. Katie Tokos had two goals on the night; Jennie Racher and Taylor McGhee each had a goal and an assist; and Abby Stolz had one goal.
Goalkeeper Julia Abney had nine saves for Sprayberry (3-2, 1-0)
Sprayberry will be playing at South Forsyth today.
Chattahoochee 11, Kell 10: Chattahoochee scored with a 1:23 left to take the lead and the win.
Kell rallied in the second half after trailing 7-3 at the break but couldn’t quite turn the corner.
Katie Kunberger led the Lady Longhorns with three goals. Emily Swift and Haley Swift both had two goals and Leslie Ferguson, Hannah Nemeck and Jessica Armstrong each had one.
Kell (2-1) will host McIntosh on Wednesday.
Allatoona 16, Dunwoody 1: Taylor Johnson scored five goals with two assists to lead the Lady Buccaneers to a big non-area win.
Madison Carlberg scored four goals and Peyton Reid made 21 saves in the net.
Allatoona (1-2) will host Lassiter on Wednesday.
Sprayberry 183, Wheeler 185: Chris Usery’s 45 in the last group helped the Yellow Jackets grab victory at the City Club of Marietta.
John Sterrett led the way, shooting 39, Daniel Sterrett shot 47 and Zach Browe finished with a 52.
The teams will meet again today at Indian Hills County Club.
