Mount Paran Christian 9, King’s Ridge Christian 1: Mount Paran’s clean slate through Region 6A play continued with the road win.
Jake Landen’s three-run double in the seventh capped a four-run inning for the Eagles (16-3, 13-0), who sent nine batters to the plate in the frame.
Jake Palomaki was 3-for-3, and Taylor Trammel batted 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs. Reed Massey also had an RBI, and Matt Norton was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
Landon Faulkner (4-1), who had two of Mount Paran’s 12 hits, gave up one earned run on three hits, including a second inning home run, and struck out four in six innings to get the victory.
Mount Paran will host Fellowship Christian on Saturday.
Walker 11, Riverwood 9: Walker gave up four runs in the top of the seventh, but it still held on for the non-region home win.
The Wolverines (11-5) led 9-3 through four innings and picked up two insurance runs in the sixth before Riverwood’s failed comeback.
Jake Depiero and Cameron Bloebaum each batted 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Paul Grazzini was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Zach Eikost and Blake Whiting each had a hit and an RBI.
Alex Watkins (1-1) allowed five runs — three earned — on five hits and struck out four to get the victory.
Walker will be at Mount Pisgah Christian today.
Whitefield Academy 11, St. Francis 3: The Wolfpack outhit St. Francis 9-6, with Bailey Combs leading the way, going 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI.
Ryan Wesley went 2-for-4 with a double, while Bradley Davidson hit his third home run of the year, driving in three.
Matt Olson pitched six innings, allowing no earned runs and walking just one against four strikeouts.
Whitefield (10-7) will play at North Cobb Christian today.
Marietta 2, McEachern 0: The Blue Devils scored two runs in the fourth inning.
Jordan Mathis scored after reaching on a single, when Marcus Mitchell hit a double, followed by a Myles Mitchell single and a Mitchell Golden sacrifice fly.
Myles Mitchell pitched six innings, earning the win with six hits allowed and hour strikeouts. Will Crowe earned the save.
Marietta (8-11, 8-2 Region 4AAAAAA) will host Harrison on Monday.
Hillgrove 11, South Cobb 7: Hillgrove trailed 6-0 after two innings, but stormed back and took the lead with a six-run sixth inning.
Devin Bilardello hit a two-run single, followed by two runs on a wild pitch and a two-run single from Carter Landreth.
Triston Delozier led the Hawks at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double. Nate Richardson earned the win on the mound, pitching four scoreless innings, while Jacob Nix and Cade Douglas finished the game.
Hillgrove (13-7, 7-3 Region 4AAAAAA) will host North Cobb on Monday.
Dominion Christian 10, Mount de Sales 2: Andrew Giles led Dominion at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs, while Bryant Anderson went 2-for-4.
Riley Howard earned the win on the mound, going four innings with three strikeouts, two walks and allowing five hits.
Dominion (7-5) will play at the Heritage School on Tuesday.
Mount Paran Christian 4, North Cobb Christian 2: Alex Gernatt put together a hat trick as his Eagles beat their rival Eagles in an Area 7A game.
Kody Kington also scored, while Cooper Ingram, Ryan Moran had assists for Mount Paran (12-2, 9-1), which will host Whitefield Academy on Monday.
Marietta 3, Etowah 0: Norman Carmona scored both goals for the Blue Devils in the first half, assisted by Gary Sharrow and Sam Borgel.
Borgel followed with a goal in the second half, assisted by Will Nelson.
Goalkeeper Salvador Hernandez had six saves for Marietta (6-8), which will host Paulding County on Tuesday.
Mount Paran Christian 7, North Cobb Christian 0: Ellie Ingram and Ally Atencio each had hat tricks, with Atencio assisting Ingram for one goal.
Ali Fern scored a goal of her own, and Abby Williams assisted Atencio for a score.

Westminster 7, Walton 6 (OT): After allowing Westminster to force overtime with 1:11 left in regulation, the Raiders allowed the private-school power to prevail on Logan Devereaux’s winner with 1:30 left in the extra period.
Walton (8-3) took a 3-0 lead, and it maintained the lead until Westminster’s tying goal.
Justin Peterman led the Raiders with two goals, while Michael Gernatt had a goal and three assists. Ryan Jones, Peter Kavney and Josh Peretz also scored.
Goalkeeper Jake Hornberger and the rest of Walton’s defense held the reigning Class A-AAAAA state champion to two goals through the game’s first 45 minutes.
Walton will host Decatur for another non-area game Tuesday.
McEachern 10, Mount Paran Christian 9 (OT): Two minutes into overtime, Ashton Waites scored his fifth goal of the game to give the Indians the win.
Goalkeeper C.J. Norrell made two saves in the sudden-death period, finishing with 17 saves on the evening.
Tommy Stabler added a hat trick and two assists, while Michael Rega and Malcolm Harrington each had one goal.
McEachern (4-6) will host East Coweta in an Area 1AAAAAA game Tuesday.
Harrison 17, Allatoona 9: The Lady Hoyas held a 9-3 halftime advantage, en route to the non-area victory at home.
Katie Define paced Harrison (9-4) with five goals. Taylor Sutton had three goals, while Emma Chorney and Gabby Grizzle each had two. Lindsey Lavilla finished with two goals and two assists.
Lilly Christz had six saves for the Lady Hoyas, who will host Area 1AAAAAA rival Tri-Cities on Tuesday.
Bailey Wilson led Allatoona with five goals and an assist.
Whitefield Academy 3, Walker 2: The Wolfpack waged a narrow battle with their top county rival before winning the Area 4A match.
Justin Samples (6-1, 6-2) and Ruben Thomas (6-2, 6-1) won in singles play, as did the No. 1 doubles team of Matthew Landry and David Lemasters.
Walker’s two victories came in three sets. Clay Jones rallied for a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles, as did Brandon Jaffe and Jake Shore for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
Mount Paran Christian 3, North Cobb Christian 2: Riley Malonson won a tough match in the top singles slot (7-6, 5-7, 6-3), beating Mount Paran’s Sam Fulkerson.
Mark Crafton won at No. 2 singles (6-3, 6-1), but Mount Paran took the final singles slot and both doubles to win the match. Patrick Weindorfer won 6-0, 6-1, while Brent Foster and Adam Rothrock (6-0, 6-4) and Jared Knox and Ryan Sturz (6-1, 6-1) clinched the win.
Mount Paran improved to 10-0 in Area 4A play and will prepare for the area tournament, which starts April 22.
Kennesaw Mountain 5, Campbell 0: The top-seeded Lady Mustangs won their first-round match of the Region 4AAAAAA tournament and guaranteed themselves a spot in the Class AAAAAA state playoffs.
Kennesaw Mountain (16-3) did not lose a game the entire match, claiming 6-0, 6-0 victories at every flight.
Samantha Armas, Nicole Croxton and Abby Seabaugh in singles play. Chika Okonkwo and Sophia Suri were No. 1 doubles winners, while Malle McNeel and Margaret Stocks won at No. 2.
The Lady Mustangs will host either Harrison or McEachern in the semifinals Tuesday.
Whitefield Academy 4, Walker 1: The Lady Wolfpack swept the singles points, on their way to the Area 4A win.
Rachel Hicks (6-1, 6-0), Kerry Anna Lemasters (6-4, 6-1) and Annie Sickling (6-1, 6-1) were victorious. So, too, was the No. 1 doubles team of Megan Schwartzkopf and Caroline Holliday, who needed three sets to win 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
Walker’s Caroline Kunetz and Haley Harkins won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Mount Paran Christian 4, North Cobb Christian 1: Mary Katherine Lewis (6-0, 6-0), Madison Darling (6-1, 6-0) and Emily Blom (6-0, 6-1) took singles action.
Abby Darling and Anna Buehler (6-1, 2-6, 10-3) won a tough doubles match.
Lauren Hudson and Claire Tompkins won 6-0, 6-0 in the second doubles slot for North Cobb Christian.
Mount Paran (5-6, 5-5) will play King’s Ridge Christian next week before the Area 4A tournament April 22.
