Last Tuesday, Cobb Police arrested Nilsa Colon on a charge of first degree child cruelty.

Police say Colon beat her child with rhinestone belt March 16, leaving bruises and marks on the child’s thigh and face. Colon was arrested on Whitlock Avenue. According to the warrant, Colon was on probation for domestic violence before the incident. She now faces one felony count and is in custody at the Cobb County jail.

I say good for her. Thats whats wrong with kids today, no disiplin. As a child, I got the belt plenty, and believe me I LEARNED!

Soundhound, while I agree that it's disgusting how so many parents fail to discipline their children, do you realize that this article states that she hit her child in the FACE with a rhinestone belt? That's not discipline by any stretch of the imagination. That's child abuse! If you think this is acceptable I sincerely hope that if you have children, or before you do so that you will seek professional help.
