From staff reports

Reports of a door-to-door salesman being chased by a man with a knife drew police to the Austell area May 22.

When they got there, the man allegedly refused to cooperate with police officers during their investigation.

Robert Wiggs, a resident of Ling Drive, reportedly chased the salesman with a kitchen knife before throwing a rock at the salesman. Wiggs then went back into his home and refused to open his front door for police officers during the subsequent investigation.

Wiggs was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department and was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.
