Rashaad Hakeem White of Waycross, Shontae Michelle Robinson of Riverdale and Vashundrah Knychelle Potts of Decatur were all arrested Aug. 18 on felony shoplifting charges.

Robinson and Potts were each released from the Cobb County jail on $2,000 bonds but White remains in jail without a bond on other charges, including obstruction, reckless conduct and contributing to the deprivation of a minor.

According to the warrant, White, Robinson and Potts are accused of filling two grocery carts in the Wal-Mart store at 1133 East-West Connector in Austell with $841 of meat and paper and trying to leave the store without paying Aug. 18.

White was arrested on additional charges for reportedly running from officers while holding a 1-year-old child when police confronted him in the store parking lot about stealing the goods, the warrant states.

“(White) was running through the parking lot and onto the sidewalk when he leaned over and dropped the child onto the concrete, leaving the child alone and unattended while he continued his flight on foot,” the warrant stated.
