Cobb County Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday in Austell.

According to police, a suspect used a silver, semi-automatic handgun to rob the Boost Mobile store at 361 Six Flags Drive in Austell.

Investigators say a black male, 6 feet tall with a dark complexion and approximately 190 to 220 pounds, entered the store at 6:19 p.m. and demanded money at gunpoint. He fled the business with an unknown amount of cash.

The man was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a black mask.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call (770) 499-3945.

A black male sounds like someone who is probably from Georgia, so will D.A. King start a defense fund for this shining example of a U.S. Citizen?
