VININGS — Police say a man robbed a bank at 4338 Paces Ferry Road, between Interstate 285 and Interstate 75, in broad daylight Friday afternoon.

The armed suspect entered and demanded money from the Sun Trust branch, which is in a strip mall where Paces Ferry Road splits off into Paces Mill Road.

The man’s jeans were torn from his right thigh to the knee, according to the Cobb County police report.

The report states after getting an undisclosed amount of cash the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is a white man in his 30s. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall with dark hair.

Surveillance footage released by the police shows that the suspect was also in the bank earlier in the week Tuesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call (770) 449-3945.
