The April luncheon of the Military Officers Association of America on Saturday features Judge Reuben Green of Cobb County Superior Court speaking about the new Veterans Court for Cobb.

Veterans Courts have been established in several Georgia counties, including Fulton, and will begin in Cobb County this summer. The purpose of the Veterans Court system will be to assist veterans in trouble with the law to lead productive lives and careers. Veteran mentors will be assigned to work with and mentor them as they take responsibility for their past, seek to avoid further criminal behavior, and recover the discipline instilled during military service.
