Man accused of setting mailbox on fire

Lamine Diaw of Kennesaw is accused of setting another person’s property on fire, according to the arrest warrant.

Diaw is accused of pouring gasoline into the victim’s mailbox, basketball goal post, and on the victim’s front porch before using a cigarette lighter to set fire to the victim’s property. The heat from the fire caused damage to the victim’s property as well as the victim’s neighbor’s home. Diaw was arrested June 9 and was charged with two counts of arson, which is a felony.
