The Big Chicken Chorus set the festive mood as guests arrived in the lobby of the Renaissance Waverly Hotel Galleria welcoming them with song.
Champagne and cocktails were served during the reception where bids were placed on silent auction items. Dinner followed with a live auction, casino games and entertainment by Brookwood Split.
Deb and Jim Budzinksi chaired the evening along with the Brumby family, who served as honorary chairs. Beth and John Silvey of Marietta know the importance of the FAPA. After ruling out the possibility of in vitro fertilization, John, president of FAPA, and Beth adopted twin girls in March 2011.
“We felt that we had so much love to give that we could go into fostering to help other children feel loved and part of a family,” John said.
