Roger John Lohr, 59, of Marietta died on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Dean Hunter and Rev. Posey Starkey officiating. Burial will be at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Marietta. Mr. Lohr, a native of Copiague, New York, was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Driver Services. Survivors include his wife Deborah Douglas Lohr, of Marietta, a daughter Denise Mize of Marietta, and a son Adam D. Lohr of Marietta. He is also survived by his mother Doris Lohr of Marietta, a sister Diane Salveson and her husband Bob of Acworth, two brothers Brian Lohr of Marietta, Dennis Lohr and his wife Debi of Madeira Beach, FL and several nieces, nephews and three grandchildren. Mr. Lohr is predeceased by his father John Lohr in 2006. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory in Marietta.
