Keep Marietta Beautiful is offering a free document shredding day. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 16. Each vehicle can bring up to 100 pounds of paper that will be securely shredded for free. Shredding is on site, and you may watch if you wish. Please note that no plastic, electronics, metal, or cardboard will be accepted.

The shredding event is also collecting used shoes, so bring in those gently worn shoes for reuse in areas where they are needed. The event will be at 591 N. Marietta Parkway, Marietta. For more information, call (770) 794-5606.
