AUSTELL — The city of Austell announced U.S. Rep. David Scott (D-Atlanta) will hold a Help for Homeowners event Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Hall A, 2 Galleria Parkway in Vinings.
The event is being held in partnership with the U.S. departments of Treasury and Housing and Urban Development. Homeowners who are struggling to make mortgage payments or to refinance can meet with mortgage servicers and HUD-approved housing counselors. Admission is free.
