Mary Eva Hill, age 83 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2013 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with the Rev. Bill Coady officiating. Mrs. Hill was the longtime director of Parents Morning Out at Tillman United Methodist Church, where she was also a member. She volunteered with Red Cross Air EVAC at Andrews Air Force Base during the Vietnam War. Mrs. Hill was a loving wife, mother and Mamaw that dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, making sure she provided a solid foundation to help them be successful in life. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Olen Hill, daughters Beth (Steven) Ayres of Lithia Springs, Brenda Fain of Douglasville, Ruth (Rick) Turbyfield of Lithia Springs, Brother Bill (Lea) Noble of Corpus Christie, TX, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
