Everything is coming up roses! Smith-Gilbert Gardens will have its 4th Annual Rose Garden Gala on May 3 starting at 6 p.m. Proceeds from this fundraising event are used to support science and nature-based education programs and to conserve, enhance and study the more than 3,000 plants in the Gardens collection. Guests will be invited to bid on a variety of live and silent auction items including one-of-a-kind experiences, tickets to sports and entertainment, restaurant packages, wine and spirits and more. Sponsors for this year’s Gala include Gas South (Bonsai level), Georgia Power, Croy Engineering, and Republic Services (Azalea level).

“We are excited to plan an event highlighting the beautiful setting at Smith-Gilbert Gardens,” said Shelby Weeks, gala committee chair. “This is one of the most unique events in Cobb County. You won’t find a more picturesque place to enjoy a wonderful dinner with good friends.”

Cocktails and dinner are included. Tickets are $120 per person and can be purchased by calling the Gardens office at (770) 919-0248 or visiting www.smithgilbertgardens.com. Special pricing is available for tables of eight. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
