Wayne Fulmer, 74, of White, GA died on Monday, October 28, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Dewey Davidson and Rev. Joe Ringwalt officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Mr. Fulmer graduated from Marietta High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Army. He was a former member of Roswell Street Baptist Church, Tabernacle Baptist Church in Cartersville, and currently a member of Rowland Springs Baptist Church in Cartersville. He worked for C.W. Matthews Contracting Company for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Maureen Fulmer of White; daughter, Susan Fulmer Brown and her husband, Jeff of Canton; two sons, Scott Fulmer and his wife, Beverly of Alpharetta, Brian Fulmer and his wife, Paula of Canton; five grandchildren; brother, Terry Fulmer of Greensville, SC; sister, Sherri Austin of Atlanta; nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 1841 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30322.
