Warner Robins police tell The Telegraph newspaper that Dahyalal Amin was pronounced dead Friday.
Police said in a statement that the death has been ruled a homicide. An autopsy concluded that 66-year-old Amin died of blunt force trauma to his head.
Police say they were called to Pop’s Food Mart on June 4 in reference to a fight between two men in front of the store. Police say they found Amin at the store injured, but the other man was gone.
Police later charged a 67-year-old man with aggravated battery in connection with the fight.
