CANTON - The most wonderful time of the year has turned into thousands of dollars of damage after a real-life Grinch destroyed a Canton woman's Christmas decorations.
It happened sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning in the 2000 block of Colony Drive. Charlotte Taylor tells FOX 5 News that someone vandalized her annual Christmas display and egged her house.
Taylor spent a good portion of Sunday cleaning up the broken and toppled display and washing the dozens of eggs that were tossed at her home.
She says she doesn't know who would want to do this.

God bless Santa, Rudolph, Frosty, Snoopy and whoever all else may have lost their inflation is this brutal and senseless attack.
We are all praying for the victims' families, the Cringles, the Reindeer, the Snowmen, and the Doggy Dogs.
At least we know the eggs were not home grown, with non-factory chickens being banned in these parts. Thank goodness we are at least safe from Evil in that one regard! Only outlaws have home grown eggs to throw. These purchased eggs can be analyzed and traced to the local Kroger and compared against Saturday receipts. Praise the Lord for that. It is the one saving Grace to this story.
The REAL chickens are the cowards that perpetrated this travesty under the cover of darkness!
Unless of course they were on the high school football team in which we will look the other way at their youthful indiscretion.
