CUMBERLAND - Like many small business owners across Cobb County, and the country, Sundial Plumbing President Mitzi Moore has spent countless hours trying to unravel the mystery that is the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or as it is commonly called, "Obamacare."

"It's been a frustrating and costly process," she said. "It's intimidating, particularly right off the bat when you hear there are fines, so you want to make sure you are in compliance, while at the same time trying to run your business."

Obamacare represents the most significant regulatory overhaul of the country's health care system since the passage of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965. Its aim is to increase the quality and affordability of health insurance, lower the uninsured rate by expanding public and private insurance coverage and reduce the costs of health care for individuals and the government through mandates, subsidies ]]>
