Claude Herschel Conner, born on October 27, 1915 was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 12, 2013 to be with his dear wife, Sallie who preceded him in death. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Mr. Conner was a Life Elder at the First Christian Church in Marietta and Cherry Log Christian Church. He was a Mason for 61 years and a member of the Kennesaw Masonic Lodge #33. Survivors include his loving daughter and son-in-law, Janelle Miller and Hugh; beloved son, C.W. Conner; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta will be handling the service.
