Excitement filled the air at the North Georgia State Fair as some 112 young ladies displayed their winning smiles and favorite gowns in the annual pageant on opening night, Sept. 20. Emcees included Maggie Bridges, the 2011 Miss North Georgia State Fair and reigning Miss Cobb County, and Abby Quarles, Miss Cobb County’s Outstanding Teen for 2013.

Two panels of judges selected the winners for the seven age divisions. Special guests on the judges’ panels included Miss Georgia 2013 Leighton Jordan and Dr. Emily Yake, Mrs. Georgia International. Also helping with the staging of the last three age divisions was Copelyn Jue, the 2012 Miss North Georgia State Fair’s Outstanding Teen.

Capturing the Tiny Miss North Georgia State Fair title (ages 3 to 4) was Ruby Bell Stevens, 4, daughter of Mickey and Alina Stevens of Kennesaw.

Petite Miss North Georgia State Fair (ages 5 to 6) is Alanna Garner, age 5, daughter of Wayne and Traci Garner of Hiram.

Little Miss North Georgia State Fair (ages 7 to 9) is Bailey Gregory, age 9, daughter of Angie and Bradley Gregory of Douglasville.

Pre-Teen Miss North Georgia State Fair (ages 10 to 12) is Sarah Edwards, age 12, daughter of Joel and Rebecca Edwards of Marietta.
