Roberta Harle Aenchbacher, 80, of Marietta, Ga. passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at Tranquility of Kennesaw Mountain. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Mrs Aenchbacher was born July 24, 1932 in Cleveland, TN. She is the daughter of the late Hugh and Lois Staples Harle, pioneer families of Cleveland, TN. Roberta was a graduate of Bradley Co. High School and of the University of Chattanooga where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a homemaker and a part time employee of the Cobb County Board of Elections. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Aenchbacher, and three children, Hugh and Chris Aenchbacher of Marietta, Bob and Julie Aenchbacher of Bentonville, AR and Amy Aenchbacher of Roswell, GA, 4 grandchildren, Ben Aenchbacher of Chicago, IL, Sarah Aenchbacher of Marietta, and Hallie and Will Aenchbacher of Bentonville, AR. She is also survived by a sister, Alice Harle Karling of Marietta and several nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife and mother with a great appreciation for nature. She had the ability to grow a beautiful garden that attracted many colorful birds and provided joy for all who came to visit. She was happiest spending time with her family at the beach or the lake. Her legacy is the example she set for her family of quiet grace, faith in the lord, and sharing joy and laughter everyday. Family will receive friends 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
