ACWORTH, Ga. - Police in Acworth say a big drug bust on Monday night led to three arrests. Officers received a complaint from a resident about illegal drug activity at a home on Pinehurst Circle.

Detectives executed two search warrants at the home, and say they found illegal narcotics and two assault rifles.

Police say they had to call in a SWAT team for assistance.

"We had some information to believe that the suspect had weapons inside the residence. The Cobb County SWAT team was called in," said Capt. Mark Cheatam of the Acworth Police Department.

Authorities say two women and a man were arrested on outstanding warrants in Cobb and Cherokee counties. They say additional charges are pending.

I have been unable to obtain any legal employment so I have started growing pot in my apartment closet. I now able to get by. The feds should legalize, tax, and regualte drugs and it would help the economy. They did this in 1933 with alcohol and put many people back to work. Officials cannot dictate what peoples vices should be.
