The 68th Annual Yaarab Shrine Circus and Carnival will have new acts from the Tarzan Zerbini Circus. Some of the acts include the Sunny Acrobatic Troupe from China with aerial poles, hoop diving, flying bungee technique, contortion, sword balancing and artistic lion dancing; and Laura Herriott, a fourth generation animal trainer, with dogs, ponies, dromedary camel, draft horse, llama and miniature stallions working together. Other acts include The Zerbini Liberty Horses, the Morris Family Elephants, the Valdes, Preciado and Garcia families on the high wire and aerial acrobatics and the Shrine Circus clowns. The carnival by Myers International Midways will feature Kiddy/Family rides like the Great Gondola Wheel, Power Surge, Freak-Out, Scooter, Orbiter and the Silver Streak. There will also be a giant flea market filled with furniture, toys, household items, clothes and more in Exhibit Hall A. A “Sneak-A-Peek-Ride-A-Thon,” with the carnival, food and flea market only, will be April 22 from 5 p.m. to close, with $10 unlimited rides.
