Major Jim Clark, age 72, of Acworth passed Sunday April 18, 2010. Jim retired from the Cobb County Police Department after 32 years of service. Service will be held Wednesday April 21, 2010 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Winkenhofer Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2-4pm. He is survived by mother, Maude Clark; son, Jimmy Clark; daughters, Suzie, Frankie and Terry; brother, Mike Clark; sister, Carol Clark Vann; grandchildren, Thea and Breyden Clark. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Rayford Clark; wife, Dorothy Clark; son Mark and daughter Jodi.

May God wrap His arms around this whole entire family and give them peace and comfort at this time.Our sincere prayers go out to them. Be with them Lord and lift them up. May God bless you all and help you through everything.
