Drivin’ N Cryin’ to perform At 120 Tavern and Music Hall MARIETTA — Drivin’ N Cryin’ will be performing at 120 Tavern and Music Hall at 1440 Roswell Road on Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The group is known for songs such as “Fly Me Courageous” and “Build a Fire.” Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. U.S. foreign policy to top Lecture friday at MCMA

MARIETTA — Donald Leidel will deliver the lecture “U.S. Foreign Policy Dilemmas in the Middle East” on Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art at 30 Atlanta St. Leidel earned his law degree at the University of Wisconsin and had a public service career which included 41 years employment with the Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Air Force and Department of State. In 1983 he was appointed U.S. ambassador to Bahrain by Ronald Reagan. His post-retirement assignments included consultant to the foreign ministries of Slovakia and Oman and professor of diplomacy and foreign relations at Lawrence University. The lecture will focus on difficulties in making foreign-policy decisions where Middle East countries are concerned. Following the lecture will be a 15-minute Q&A session. Eric Lindell to perform July 15th in Starlight Series

KENNESAW — Louisiana-based guitarist Eric Lindell will perform July 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Legacy Gazebo Amphitheater as part of the 2012 Starlight Summer Concert Series. Lindell’s KSU performance is part of his “I Still Love You” CD release tour, his third album with Alligator Records. Gates will open at 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $8 and table reservations for six are $75. Table reservations must be made at least one week in advance.
